The only capes that can be obtained on one's own, so far, in Java Edition are the migrator cape, which comes from migrating a Mojang account to a Microsoft account, and the vanilla cape, which comes from owning both Java Edition and Bedrock Edition in the same Microsoft account prior to June 6, 2022. Turtle Cape – Given to billyK for his suggestion to add turtles to the cape selection menu Java Edition.However, it was quickly removed when the employee realised its rarity, and LolFoxy2 was given the Migration cape instead. Valentines Cape – Given to LolFoxy2 by an employee after resolving their problems with account migration.Birthday Cape – Given to Gr8Bizzo, a Mojang employee who worked on the Minecraft website.This cape has already been made by Jeb, but it didn’t have an owner until he decided to give it to Drullkus.
